The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan has claimed responsibility for injuring three Taliban fighters in an attack in Kabul.
According to a press release shared by the National Resistance Front on the social media platform X, their forces attacked a Taliban checkpoint in Kabul’s 17th district on Sunday, March 9, at 9:20 PM.
The press release stated that no harm was inflicted on the National Resistance Front’s forces or civilians during the operation.
Additionally, the National Resistance Front reiterated its commitment to continuing its attacks against the Taliban.
So far, the Taliban have not responded to this incident.
Moreover, the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has confirmed that 53 attacks on Taliban positions have been carried out by the National Resistance Front in the past three months.
It is worth mentioning that the National Resistance Front also claimed to have killed two Taliban fighters in two separate operations in Kabul last Friday night.
