Reliable sources reported to IntelMedium that a Taliban fighter named Najib allegedly sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl before beheading her with a knife. According to the sources, the horrific incident took place last week in the village of Siab, located in Bengi district of Takhar province.
Local residents of Bengi district reportedly gathered today in front of the Taliban governor’s office in Taloqan city, demanding the arrest and punishment of the accused fighter. However, the sources claim that Taliban authorities ignored their pleas.
This incident comes amid broader allegations against the Taliban, who, since reclaiming power, have been accused of taking multiple wives—often more than four—and subjecting young girls to sexual assault.
