
A 27-Year-Old Man Killed by His Girlfriend’s Brother in Kunduz
Local sources in Kunduz province have reported to IntelMedium that a young man was killed by his girlfriend’s brother in the Imam Sahib district of the province.
Three reliable sources have confirmed that the young man was named Gulam Haider, and he was 27 years old.
According to these sources, Gulam Haider was stabbed to death in broad daylight around 1:30 PM on Wednesday (March 13). One of the sources stated, “Gulam Haider was killed by the girl’s brother because of his relationship with her.”
Reliable sources also confirmed that the attacker fled after the murder, but his two older brothers were detained by the Taliban.
Based on information provided to IntelMedium, Gulam Haider and the attacker’s sister had been in a relationship for several years, and the girl’s family had recently learned about it.
However, the Taliban in Kunduz have not yet responded to IntelMedium’s inquiries regarding the incident.
It is worth noting that in recent days, family murders, violence, thefts, and armed conflicts have significantly increased in Afghanistan.
